There is no online casino called Neosurf Casino. Neosurf is a prepaid voucher and e-payment service founded in 2004, not a gambling operator. When people search for a Neosurf casino, they are looking for independent online casinos that accept Neosurf as a deposit method. Several Canadian-facing casinos do accept Neosurf deposits.
Why People Search for a Neosurf Casino
When people search for a 'Neosurf casino,' it's very rare that they're looking for a Neosurf owned and operated casino. When people say 'Neosurf casino,' they're saying 'I want to play at an online casino that supports Neosurf deposits.' Just like people say 'PayPal casino' and 'Interac casino.'
Some have seen ads or apps with the name Neosurf and have questioned whether it's legitimate. Others are asking if Neosurf has gotten into the gambling market. Neosurf Cards SAS is a payment service provider and isn't a casino operator. Therefore, there is no Neosurf-branded online casino.
Understanding the difference protects you. A site calling itself Neosurf Casino and implying it is run by or officially connected to the Neosurf brand is making a false claim, and that is a red flag worth taking seriously before you deposit a single dollar.
What Neosurf Actually Is
Neosurf Cards SAS is a French company founded in 2004 by Nicolas Saubie, who serves as its CEO. It operates as an electronic-money institution and prepaid payment provider, not as a gambling operator of any kind.
- Prepaid vouchers: Neosurf sells prepaid vouchers that can be used to make purchases online, including deposits at some gambling operators.
- No gambling licence: Neosurf holds no gambling licence and does not run any casino, sportsbook or gaming platform.
- Deposit-only in many cases: At casinos that do accept Neosurf, the voucher is typically used for deposits only. Withdrawals generally require a separate payment method.
- Described as a banking solution: Neosurf is described as a prepaid banking solution for online purchases, designed to let users spend without sharing bank or card details.
Nothing in the verified public record suggests Neosurf Cards SAS plans to operate a casino under its own name.

- No verifiable licence number: A legitimate casino displays its licence number and the name of its regulator. A missing or unverifiable licence is a serious warning sign.
- Pressure to deposit quickly: Fake sites often push time-limited bonuses to rush you into depositing before you can research the operator.
- No responsible gambling tools: Licensed operators in Ontario are required to meet AGCO standards, including offering deposit limits and self-exclusion. Absence of these tools suggests an unlicensed site.
- Vague or missing terms and conditions: Legitimate casinos publish full terms. If bonus rules, withdrawal limits or wagering requirements are hidden or unclear, treat it as a red flag.
- No traceable company information: A real operator lists its registered company name, address and contact details. Generic or missing company information is a warning sign.
- Not on the iGaming Ontario operator list: Ontario players can check the official directory of registered operators maintained through iGaming Ontario. If a site is not listed, it is not regulated in Ontario.

Is It Legal to Play at a Neosurf-Accepting Casino in Canada?
Online casino gambling is legal in Canada, but regulations vary from province to province. For example, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulates online gambling in Ontario. As of now, only casino gambling sites licensed by the AGCO and partnered with iGaming Ontario are allowed to operate in the province.
The AGCO has player protection and game integrity standards and a framework for responsible gambling. Players in Ontario can check whether an operator is licensed by going to the official directory of registered internet gaming operators, which is maintained by iGaming Ontario. Operators that aren't on that list do not operate in the regulated framework of the province.
Outside Ontario, rules vary by province. Players elsewhere in Canada should check with their own provincial authority before depositing at any online casino, regardless of the payment method used.
If you need support related to gambling, the Responsible Gambling Council provides guidance on managing gambling behaviour, dealing with gambling-related debt and finding treatment resources across Canada.
